AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST LOSER CAST MEMBER - SERIES 1 (2005-2006)

Being one of the original cast of The Biggest Loser Australia was a great honor and something that has changed my life.

Well with the 2nd Anniversary of entering the house (13th Dec 2005 my birthday!!!) just passing people have been asking if i have kept the weight off and how is it all going? I can say this, my weight is going fine and no i have not put it all back on. I did put some weight on but I have since lost it again, this is going to be a struggle and a challenge for years to come but while ever the scales are heading down
and not up - i am happy.

It has taken me some time to get my head around it all and no, it is not as easy as it was made to look on the show, but anyone who has had a weight problem or tried to lose weight would let you know that there wasnt much reality about what they show you on that reality show.

So what am i up to these days????

I have have just finished training to be a personal trainer with the Australian Institute of Fitness, ok you may laugh but i ask you this, would you prefer to be trained by someone who was a real big person and has lost over 70 kg and knows what its like to being overweight - or by someone who is rippled with muscle and never had an over weight day in their life.

I am not saying i am any better than a healthy well trained person (that would be a stupid statement to make), i too one day want to be like them - well not rippling with muscle but normal weight and as fit as i can be, but i also think i have experienced all there is to feel about starting a lifestyle change and being overweight and taking that first step and who better to start you on your new lifestyle chane than someone who spent 15 terrible years morbidly obese and has turned it all around for the better.

So now i am quailifed and ready to do what i love best! Helping people its just now i can not only motivate them but get out there and train them as well. CAMP DAVID will be making a huge return in 2008!

To all the well wishes not only is Australia but all over the world thank you. Our Series has now been show in England, New Zealand, Canada and the United States, and may have been show in other countries???
